Parmina Di Profio (nee Gozzo) 87, of Union, died on Thursday June 4, 2015,

at Overlook Medical Center in Summit.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Monday at 9AM.

The funeral mass will be in St. James Church in Springfield at 10:30 am.

Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Visitation will be on Saturday and Sunday from 2-6 PM.

Born in East Orange, she lived in Newark before moving to Union 53 years ago.

She was a former active  member of the St. James School Mother's Guild, and currently was an active member of the Rosary Altar Society, and a Eucharistic Minister at St. James Church in Springfield.

Parmina was married to her late husband Louis Di Profio Sr. for 56 years until he passed away in 2000.

She is the mother of Rosemarie Toscano and her husband Rocco, Frank Di Profio and his wife Kathy, Louis Di Profio Jr. and his wife Karen, and Joseph Di Profio and his wife Cathy.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
