Patrick Alphonse

Patrick Alphonse passed away on September 28 2024. Born on March 15, 1962, in Port Au Prince, Haiti, Patrick moved to Canada in 1977 at the age of 15, before making a home and life for himself in the United States. He was an accomplished electrician, known for his expertise and dedication to his craft. Patrick's career was not just a job for him, but a reflection of his creativity and skills.

A gentle and soft-spoken man, Patrick possessed a wonderful sense of humor that made everyone around him feel at ease. He was passionate about music, particularly enjoying playing the guitar. His love for music extended to a wide range of genres, including Jazz, Bossa Nova, and Kompa. Patrick also took great pleasure in watching soccer matches, ardently supporting both Brazil and Haiti.

Patrick was devoted to his family. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Fabienne Aubourg, and her fiancée, Delvin S. Reneau. He leaves behind three sons: Daniel Alphonse, Emile Alphonse, and Patrick Durkhein Alphonse. Meredith Alphonse, the loving mother of his children, continues to carry on the family’s legacy. The memory of Patrick will also be cherished by his siblings: Rose-Moraine Alphonse, Suzie Alphonse, Adine Alphonse, Danielle Alphonse, and Myrline Alphonse. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Daniel Alphonse, and his mother, Therese Boursicot.

One of Patrick’s proudest accomplishments was his commitment to music education within his family. He instilled a love for music in his children by teaching them to play instruments from an early age, a legacy that will resonate for years to come.

Visitation for Patrick Alphonse will be held on October 12, 2024, at Galante Funeral Home-Union Location in Union, NJ, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by the Funeral Service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. His family invites all who knew him to celebrate his life and share in their memories of a remarkable man.
