Peter Listowski

Peter Listowski, 65, passed away on May 25, 2017 after a fierce battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.

Visitation will take place on Friday May 26, 2017 from 4-8pm

at the Galante Funeral Home- 2800 Morris Ave. Union, NJ.

There will be a funeral on Saturday May 27, 2017 at 8:30am at Galante Funeral Home,

with a funeral  Mass to follow at St. James Church

45 S.Springfield Ave. Springfield, NJ at 9:30 am.

Born and raised in Jersey City, Peter settled in Springfield in 1981.

He worked as a custodian at the James Caldwell School for 22 years where he was loved by everyone.

Pete is survived by his wife of 43 years Diane (Narkiewicz),

daughter Tara, her husband Sam and their two children Adriana and Gabriel.

Daughter Lisa, her husband Isaac and their daughter Addison.

Pete is also survived by his father Peter, brother Bruce,

mother-in-Law Ann Narkiewicz, Sister-in-Law Mary Ann Benedetti, and many nieces and nephews.

Pete was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth,

sister Marietta Curran,

father-in-Law Walter Narkiewicz,

and brother-in-law Artie Benedetti.
