Peter C. Rinaldi, Jr.

Peter C. Rinaldi Jr., 80 of Dingmans Ferry, PA passed away on December 10, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Peter at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday December 15 from 3-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Florham Park on Friday at 10 AM. Cremation will be held privately.

Born and raised in Newark, Peter lived in Florham Park and New Providence before moving to Dingmans Ferry one year ago. He honorably served his country in the US Army from 1966-1968 in the Vietnam War. He was a chemical engineer with Mennen in Morris Plains for 14 years. Peter then worked for Ace Fence Supply in Newark until his retirement. He proudly received his certification as an environmentalist and master gardener from Rutgers University. Peter was an avid stamp collector, and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing. He especially treasured time spent at the Jersey Shore in Cape May.

Peter was the beloved husband of Marlene (nee Cavallo) Rinaldi; loving father of  Jennifer Rinaldi and her husband Joerg Windau, Amy Koeppl and her husband Robert, Anthony Rinaldi, and Karen DeGaetano and her husband Louie; dear grandfather of Lucas, Justin, Maia, RP, Nicholas, Xavier and Zachary. He was also the cherished brother of Dennis Rinaldi, and the late Dominick Rinaldi and Rosemary Rinaldi.
