Pura Gonzalez

Pura Gonzalez (nee Torrens) 95, of Union,  died on Weds. Sept. 30, 2015. The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Tuesday at 10 am. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in Union for 25 years. She was a retired seamstress.

Pura was the wife of the late Isidro Gonzalez, and is the mother of Maria Lewis, and Manuel Gonzalez. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
