Rachela Scibilia

Rachela "Lena" ScibiliaRachela ‘Lena’ Scibilia (nee Paolercio) Age 94 of Union N.J. passed away on March 22, 2013. Mrs. Scibilia was predeceased by her husband Sam Scibilia and 5 sisters and three brothers.  She is survived by her sister Rose Lepore, (nee Paolercio).Born in Newark N.J. to the late Michael and Maria Paolercio she resided in Hillside, Newark, and Hackettstown, N.J. before moving to Union, N.J.  Mrs. Scibilia worked in sales for the Marx Department Stores and the Sport Shop in Irvington, N.J. retiring in 1980.  Rachela is survived by her daughters Patricia Harvey of Montville N.J. and Antoinette Vacca of Boynton Beach, Florida.  She was the beloved grandmother of Annmarie Sperger, Salvatore Vacca, Kelly Harvey, and Lauren Harvey and great grandmother, to Cory and Connor Sperger, & Ella Vacca.

The funeral is from the Galante funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Wednesday at 9 AM.

The funeral mass is at Holy Spirit Church in Union at 10:30 AM.

Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
