Raymond F. Storch, 74 of Manalapan passed away at home on August 10, 2023.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Raymond at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Tuesday August 15 from 5-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Vianney Church on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery.
Born in Newark, Raymond lived in Elizabeth and in Edison for many years until moving to Manalapan 20 years ago. He was a proud graduate of Rutgers University Law School, and member of Phi Beta Kappa. Raymond was an assistant prosecutor with the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office from 1975 until 2000. Later, he enjoyed his work for H&R Block for many years, where he was known as a master tax preparer and an enrolled agent.
Raymond loved talking about taxes, and how much money he was able to save his clients. He especially enjoyed hiking, and taking his five mile walks. He was also a talented poet, whose jokes and funny stories will be sorely missed by his loved ones. Above all, Raymond cherished time spent with his grandchildren.
Raymond was predeceased by his wife Brenda Storch in 1998. He is survived by his beloved wife Rosemary (nee Petrozzo) Storch; his loving children Michael Storch and his wife Kelly Targett, and Katherine Storch; stepsons Kenneth and Daniel; his treasured grandchildren Elizabeth and Georgiana, and by his sister Anna Savage.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. John's Soup Kitchen in Newark, https://www.njsk.org/donate
