Raynald Laurent was born on Thursday, August 11, 1955, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, to the late Luc and Lillian (Aristor) Laurent. In 1987, he married the love of his life, Magdaly Laurent (nee Casseus), and of their union bore four children. Raynald has worked in different capacities, and is most known for being the owner of T-Shirt House (Kay Maillots). T-Shirt House provided several churches, daycares, and organizations in Haiti, Canada and America, with their screen printing needs. No matter which title he held, you could always find a friend, a counselor, and a brother in Raynald. He leaves behind his loving wife, Magdaly Laurent, his four children, Jemima (Yaw), Raynald Manoah, Tabitha, Benjina, and his grandson Adom. He is survived by his siblings: Luckner, Hiriel, Chantale, Mary Francoise, Mary Gerald, Reynold, Luckson, Edma, Nadia, and Mary Gerald. He will be truly missed by his many friends and family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Raynald at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday March 28 from 5 to 9 PM, and on Friday from 9 to 11 AM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM, and burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park.
