Remigio Gomez, 81, On March 21, 2013 of Newark.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific Street, on Monday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass is at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Newark at 9:30 AM. Interment is in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.

Remigio was born in Santander, Spain . He lived in the Ironbound section of Newark since 1967.

Before retiring in 1984 he worked for the Witco Corporation for 19 years.

Husband of Dolores (nee Ledo).

Father of Benjamin and his wife Laura.

Grandfather of Max.
