It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Reyes Tricoche Jr., who left this world on July 23, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family. Reyes, aged 75, was a cherished husband, devoted father, and adoring grandfather. His loss leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vilma, who stood by his side through thick and thin, sharing a bond that knew no bounds. Together they built a lifetime of beautiful memories and faced life's challenges with unwavering strength and love.

Reyes will forever remain in the hearts of his six children: Mimi, Richard, Alex, Nancy, Jessica, and Erik, who were his pride and joy. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, guidance, and a deep-rooted sense of family that he instilled in each of them.

The joy of Reyes’ life was magnified through his twelve adoring grandchildren: Adrienne, Julian, Cristian, Avi, Lia, Max, Kara, Kaiser, Arielle, Olivia, EJ, and Noah. He cherished every moment spent with them, showering them with love, laughter, and joy.

During this difficult time, the family requests privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved Reyes.  However, they are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of support and condolences they have received from friends and extended family.

The funeral service to honor and celebrate Reyes's life will be held on July 28, 2023, at Galante Funeral Home at 2800 Morris Ave. Union, NJ 07083 from 4-8 pm.  A burial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 -that will begin at Galante funeral home at 9 am, and will then proceed to Graceland Memorial Park at 1900 Galloping Hill Road, Kenilworth, NJ 07033.  Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and bid farewell to a remarkable individual who touched so many lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, in memory of Reyes Tricoche, Jr.
