Richie Anthony Casale
September 4th, 1990-January 17th, 2025
With heavy hearts we sadly announce that our beloved, warrior son, Richie Anthony Casale made his way peacefully into heaven’s gates at the age of 34 on Friday, January 17th, 2025.
Richie was born and raised in Kenilworth, New Jersey and graduated from David Brearly High School in 2008. He attended Lincoln Technical Institute in Union then went on to fulfill his dream after moving to Stuart, Florida and was employed as an electrician at Elite Electric & Air in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Richie became an amazing mentor to his co-workers. Richie lived his life selflessly with love, kindness and a heart of gold. If you were fortunate enough to have been loved by Richie, or even just met him in passing, you knew his genuine spirit, kind heart and love was unconditional, one stronger and more powerful than anything equipped for this lifetime.
Where Richie found the most joy was in his hobbies like fishing, collecting vintage items and his artwork, including drawing and creative woodworking. He received an honorable mention in an art show at Kean college for his original hand-made wooden spiritual walking stick. He was also very proud to fill his younger years with dedicated time towards receiving his black belt in Karate. Most of all, Richie loved spending time finding beaches and parks to go to with his amazing dog, Louie. Richie was known for his humor, generosity for others, his constant words of encouragement, and sharing his bravery and challenges for those who needed it. Richie was our superman, a hero to anyone who needed any kind of support. His infectious smile and laugh will forever be stamped in our hearts. Richie never met a stranger that didn’t walk away without ending up being a friend of his.
Richie is survived by his loving father, Richard J. Casale, his loving mother, Louise E. Casale (Apuzzio), his sister Janine (Casale) Faubel and husband Trace, and his amazing and loyal dog, Louie. His cherished grandparents, Joan C. Casale and Phyllis L. Apuzzio. Richie is preceded in death by grandparents, Richard Casale and Louis G. Apuzzio. Richie also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated in Richie’s memory to the Marfan foundation at http://www.marfan.org/ or at 22 Manhasset Avenue, Port Washington, New York, 11050.
