Rita Griggs (nee Tauriello), 88, passed away on April 21, 2020 at Willow Springs, Brick, NJ.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Rita also lived in Clifton, Union, and South Orange. She worked for many years as a secretary before retiring.

Rita was predeceased by her husband Arthur Griggs and her parents Francisco and Lucy Tauriello.

She is survived by her sons, Arthur (wife, Cynthia) and Garret (wife, Laura), grandchildren Jason, Samantha, and Joseph (wife, Erika) and her great-granddaughter Emma.

Also surviving are her sister Maryanne Lilore (husband, Ralph) and brother Anthony Tauriello (wife, Joanne).

Interment private at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
