Robert Duarte

Robert Davis Duarte, 45 of South Plainfield, formerly of Union passed away on November 20, 2018.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, 1212 Kelly St. Union on Thursday at 10:15 AM. Cremation is private. Visitation is on Wednesday from 6-9 PM at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union.

Born in Newark to Paulo and Tania Duarte, Robert was a longtime Union resident and worked for Recycle, Inc., in South Plainfield.

Robert was the beloved husband of Caroline (nee Crippa-Machdo); loving father of Beatriz and Davis Duarte; and dear brother of Leandro Duarte, Paul Duarte and Andrea Duarte-Carbonaro, and brother-in-law of Anelisa Duarte and Carlo Carbonaro. He is also survived by his nephew and godson Giancarlo Carbonaro, his nephew Paulie Duarte, and nieces Julianna Carbonaro, Amanda Duarte and Emma Duarte.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory are being graciously accepted by his family.
