Rogelio "Roger" Cuenca had passed at home on December 15, 2021, at the age of 79.
The third eldest of nine, he moved to the United States from the Philippines, graduated as a Civil Engineer.  Loving husband to Martina, he worked in Westchester Medical Center in New York and settled in New Jersey to have a family. A loving father to Ryan and Kelly, he dedicated his life to the domestic life to make sure his wife came home to rest after working in the hospital.  Charismatic and suave, he danced and befriended so many that his friends became future extensions of his small family.  A survivor of two strokes, he overcame cancer and enjoyed life with his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Roger at Galante Funeral Home on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A funeral mass  will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church in Maplewood.
