Rosalie Rossi, 98 of Union, passed away on December 20, 2021.

Rosalie was a kind gentle and loving woman.  Her priority in life was always family first.  As a younger woman she took care of her siblings and then her two daughters.  Most of her life she was a homemaker and always was surrounded by family which included her siblings and nieces and nephews, later on in life she became close to her great nieces and great nephews and presently their children. She loved playing lottery and scratch offs and in her younger years Atlantic City. She had many friends and she never had a unkind word to say about anyone.  She will be loved and missed forever. Born in Newark, she resided in Union.

Wife of the late Gennaro, she is survived by her daughters, Maryann Rossi and Rosalie Deredita and her husband Andy.  Sister of the late Sid, Louis, Diego, Joseph and Vincent Gueci and the late Maria Scialfo and Paula Pintozzi.  She also leaves behind nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Rosalie at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Tuesday December 28 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Church in Springfield on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.
