Rosanna Troiano

Rosanna J. Troiano (nee Bonavota), 79 of Union passed away on April 21, 2021 at Runnells Center in Berkeley Heights.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Monday April 26 at 9 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 259 Oliver St. Newark at 10:30 AM. Cremation will be held privately, and she will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery with her dear husband and grandson in the near future.

Born in Newark, Rosanna lived in Hillside and Cliffwood Beach before moving to Union 40 years ago. She enjoyed her work as a ceramics teacher for the Union Recreation Department, and most cherished time spent teaching children.

Rosanna was the beloved wife of the late Victor Troiano, loving mother of Patricia Loughny and her husband Michael, and Victor Troiano and his wife Tina; adoring grandmother of Michael, Timothy, Sean, Daniel, Victor, Joseph and the late Anthony; and dear great-grandmother of Jack. Beloved  Sister of Theresa Bonavota

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
