Rose H. Bergamotto (nee Curci) 89, of Newark, died on Sunday June 2 ^nd , 2013 at home.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Thursday at 8 am. The funeral mass is at Holy Spirit Church in Union at 9:30 am. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Born in Newark she lived there and then moved to Elizabeth for 27 years, before moving back to Newark 15 years ago. She was also a member of the Coquettes Club in Newark for many years.

Rose was married to her late husband Nicola for 50 years until he died in 1996. She is the mother of Nicholas and his wife Diane, Robert and his wife Joanne, Ronald and is wife Melody and the late Karen Aronskind. She is the sister of Annette Salmorin, Ann Criscitello, Rita Popola, the late Phyllis Morello, Helen Cicchino, and Violet Murin, and is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
