Rose Bobenchik

Rose Bobenchik (nee Mucchielo) 93, of Union, died on Sunday Feb. 8, 2015.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday at 9 am. The funeral mass will be in St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in Union for 25 years.

Rose was married to her late husband Michael Bobenchik for 63 years until he passed away in 2004. She is the mother of Andrew Bobenchik, and Maryann Olivo and her husband Don. She is the sister of Teresa Albanese, The late Angelo, Pat, and John Mucchielo, Madeline Caprara, and Antoinette Paglia, and the grandmother of Laura Ciccone and her husband Michael, and Dana Newman and her husband Kenneth, as well as the great grandmother of Amanda, Alexis, Kenneth, Anthony, and Christina.
