Rosemarie Da Cruz (nee Damato) , 76, Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on August 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at New York Presbyterian Hospital from ALS.

Rosemarie was born in Newark, NJ and resided most of her life in Iselin, NJ. She worked most of her life as a cashier at Foodtown of Edison, NJ. She also worked at JFK Medical Center of Edison as a medical biller for 7 years before retiring. After retirement she and her loving husband Albert moved to Glen Gardner, NJ. She resumed working as a cashier at A&P. They were both dedicated members of Saint John Neumann Church of Califon, NJ.

Rosemarie was loved by everyone and when she met you, she made you feel like she's known you forever. She was always there to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on. Rosemarie couldn't travel anywhere without running into someone she knew. Her personality was infectious and everyone knew her loved her.

Rosemarie is survived by her loving husband Albert, her two children Anthony and Lisa Da Cruz, her sister Cettina Giglio, and her two grandchildren Shannon and Michael Da Cruz. She was predeceased by her parents, Rocco and Lena Damato, her sisters Francis Minervini, and Lucille Stefanelli.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, August 7, 2015 at The Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave, Union , NJ. from 3-7 pm
