Rosina Marano (nee Aurigemma) 86, of Elizabeth passed away on Monday August 29, 2016 at Trinitas Medical Center in Elizabeth.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at 8:30 am. The Funeral Mass will be in St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa, NJ. Visitation will be on Tuesday September 6, from 4-8 PM.

Born in New York City, she lived in Monteforte  Irpino, Provincia de Avellino, Italy, before moving to Elizabeth, NJ for the last 61 years. She was a member of the Madre de Cristiana Society, and the Holy Rosary Society of St. Anthony Church in Elizabeth for many years.

Rosina was married to her beloved husband Silvestro Marano for 65 years, and is the loving mother of  Filomena Karabinchak and her husband Richard, Antoinette Mistretta and her husband Paul, Carmella Colella, Anthony, & John, Marano and Carmine and his wife Doris Marano .She is the cherished grandmother of Melissa Barto, Paul Mistretta Jr. Nicole Augburn, Gabrielle, & Antonio Colella, Alexis Modreski, Christian, and Rebecca Marano, and is also the loving  great grandmother of Timothy, Adelyn, Bella, and Annabeth.
