Ruth Graser

Ruth K. Graser, 93 of Fredonia, NY passed away on March 24, 2016 at Atrium of Wayne.

Born in Dunkirk, NY, Ruth attended nursing school in New London, CT. Upon graduation, she enlisted in the Army and served as a Second Lieutenant working as a nurse during World War II, stationed in England and Germany. After the War, she moved back to Dunkirk and went to work at Brooks Hospital, and married in 1952. She and her husband moved to Lincoln Park, NJ in 1965, then lived in Fredonia since 1988. Ruth absolutely loved entertaining friends and throwing parties, and also being outdoors especially camping, boating and waterskiing.

Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Daniel; loving mother of Mary Soni and her husband James, and Michael Graser, and she was the wonderful grandmother of Daniel Wagner and Samantha Soni.

Funeral services are private, under the direction of the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell.
