Sadie Valenti, 95, of Union passed away on December 24, 2012.

She is the wife of the late Vito (Willie), The mother of Joseph Valenti and his wife Barbara, Maria Taccogna and her husband Thomas, and the late Vito Valenti. She is the sister of Rose, Eleanor and Joseph. She is the beloved grandmother of James, Marisa, Peter, Robert, Thomas and Lisa. Great-Grandmother of Simon.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Sadie lived there until moving to Union in 1966. She and Vito were married for 61 years until he passed away in 1999. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

The Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave., Union on Saturday at 9 AM. The Funeral Mass is at St. Joseph Church, Maplewood at 10:45 AM. Entombment is at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation is on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
