Salvatore F. Gazzo

Salvatore F. Gazzo 90, of Lake Como NJ, Passed away on December 2, 2014.

Husband of Silvia (nee Pompeo).

Father of Cathy Gazzo, Maria Langen and husband Albert, Antoinette Vogt and husband David,   Salvatore Jr. and fiancé Kimberly Fitzgerald.

Grandfather of Michael, Joanna, Alex, Katrina, Andrew, Alaina, Calvin and Emily.

Salvatore was born and raised in Irvington NJ. He lived in West Caldwell for 38 years before moving to Lake Como NJ in 2000.

Before retiring in 1990 he was the Assistant Chief Engineer with Pfaff & Kendall in Newark for 20+ years.

He was a Sergeant in the Army during WWII.

He had a lifelong interest in both WWII aircraft and model aircraft.

He also enjoyed watching a wide diversity of sports.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Saturday at 8:30 AM.

Funeral Mass at St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell at 10 AM.
