Shirley Recktenwald

Shirley Recktenwald (nee Collins) 80, of Springfield died on Monday July 30th, 2012 at the Center for Hope Hospice Peggy Coloney House in Scotch Plains.


The Funeral Service is in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.


She was the daughter of the late George and Helen(nee Maser)Collins. She was the wife of the late Neal Recktenwald, the mother of Michael Recktenwald and his wife Jane, Patricia Bubb and her husband Tom, Pamela Kaczor and her husband John. She was also the sister of Richard Collins and his wife Julie of Johnstown, Pa. as well as the grandmother of Kimberly,Michael,Sean, Meghan, Katherine,and Matthew.


In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to The Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Road Suite # 300 Jacksonville, Florida 32256 in her memory,
