Silvio Gallucci

Silvio Gallucci passed away peacefully on Sunday November 30, 2014 in Roanoke. VA at 94 years of age.

Funeral service will be held at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-7 PM.

Silvio immigrated to the US in 1935 and served in the US Army during WWII, earning a US citizenship for his service. He married Mary Ferrari in June 1944 and they had one son, Edward in 1947. He was the proprietor of Echo Shoe Repair in Springfield, NJ for 35 years.

Silvio is survived by his son Edward and daughter-in-law Donna Gallucci and their three children, Mara, Gina and Michael; and by his brother-in-law Gino Ferrari. He is also survived by his relatives in NC, NJ, NY, Toronto, Canada and Cosenza, Italy.
