Father of  Peter J. D'Alessio, Patricia A. D'Alessio Olive, Denise Makhlouf and. Simone Jr. (Sam) D'Alessio.

Brother of Elizabeth "Betty" Pannucci.

Grandfather of Jean Paul Jr., Matthew, Sammy III, Andrew, Alex and Alyse.

Sam was born and lived in Orange, NJ, then married and moved to Montclair, retiring in Del Ray Beach in 1989. He was a Maintenance Forman at the Essex County Hospital Center in Cedar Grove for 35 years before retiring in 1986.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a Raider in the Pacific theatre during WWII. Past commander of the VFW Post 376 in W. Orange. A member of the Loyola Retreat House in Morristown with the title of "Companion of Saint Ignatius Loyola".
