Simone Riebel

Simone V. Riebel, 70 of Bernardsville passed away on January 19, 2022.

Simone was born in Summit and lived there before moving to Bernardsville many years ago.

Simone is survived by her former husband and friend Larry Riebel. She leaves behind her loving children, daughter Lauren Oliver and son-in-law John Oliver, daughter Simone Virgilio and son-in-law Rich Virgilio who will miss her dearly. Simone was the proud grandmother of Johnathan, Casey and Richie. She was the cherished sister of Diane Cirelli and sister-in-law of Bernard Cirelli. She leaves behind many other family members and friends she touched throughout her life here on Earth. Larry and Simone owned a gas station business in Chatham before retiring a few years ago.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday from 10AM to 12PM at Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union.

Internment of cremains to take place at Saint Teresa Cemetery in Summit.
