Stephen A. Patricco 57, of Union, passed away on Friday November 1st, 2013 at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center in NYC.

The Funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Monday at 9 am. The funeral mass will be in St. Michael Church in Union at 10:15 am. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6 pm.

Born in Orange, NJ, he was a lifelong Union resident. He was the proud owner of Amici's Italian Restaurant in Union for the last 11 years. He was a 1974 graduate of Union High School,  the former treasurer for the United States Naval Academy New Jersey Parent's Club, a Union  Little League Coach for 15 years, a Union County Umpire for the NJ Softball and Baseball Umpires Association, the Past President of the Union Rams Youth Football League, a member of the Union Chapter of UNICO National, a member of the Twp. of Union Zoning Board of Adjustment, a former Volunteer  for the Callmans Emergency Squad, The Knights of Columbus Council # 4504, of Union and the Regular Democratic Club of Union,

Steve was married to his wife Mary Ellen (nee Hrycenko) for 27 years, He is the father of Michael A. and Stephen E. Patricco. He is the son of Anthony (Pat) Patricco and the late Helen (nee D'Arienzo)
