Sue M. DiLeo

Sue M. DiLeo (nee Pepe) 93, of Union, died on Thursday September 17, 2015 at home. The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Monday at 9 am.

The funeral mass will be in St. Michael Church in Union at 10:15 am. The interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, also in Union. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6 pm.

Born in Newark, she lived in Union 60 years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America chapter located at St. Michael Church in Union.

Sue was married to her late husband John P. DiLeo Sr. for  47  years until he passed away in 1997. She is the mother of Sharon M. Piano and her husband Matty, and John P. DiLeo Jr. and his wife Catherine. She is also the grandmother of Christopher and his wife Cindy, Matthew and his wife Kelly, Rosanne, and Jessica and her husband Michael, as well as the great grandmother of Juliana, Johanna, Matteo, Nico, and Seraphina. Sue was also the sister in law of Josephine Pepe, and was predeceased by her late siblings Alvira Pepe, Carmela Russo, Virginia Bertero, Ann Catena, Lena Maschefsky Truppo, Enrico (Eddie), Alfred (Fred), and Anthony (Tony) Pepe.
