Susie G. Lo Macchio

Susie G. Lo Macchio (nee Esposito) 88, of Union, died on Wednesday October 17th, 2012 at home.


The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Saturday at 8am. The funeral mass is at St. James Church in Springfield, at 9:30 am. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park. Visitation is Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Union for 59 years. She was a meat wrapper for the A&P Supermarket in Union for 15 years, and then for the Acme supermarket in Springfield for 15 years. Prior to both of those she was a solderer for Airco Corp. in Union for 5 years. She retired 14 years ago.


Susie was married to her late Husband Bernard J. Lo Macchio for 61 years, until he died in 2009. She was the mother of Patricia Lo Macchio, and the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
