Theresa Roma Carnovale 86, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2016 at St. Barnabas Medical Center Livingston.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, on Monday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass at St James Church Springfield at 10 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday 2-6 pm.

Born in Italy, Theresa lived in Newark then moved to Springfield. Theresa worked for Electrical Industries in New Providence for many years before retiring.

Beloved sister of Frank Carnovale and his wife Hilda, Julia Zeppi, and the late Lawrence. Sister in law of Ida Carnovale. Aunt of Anna Maria Shanoski, Frank Carnovale, Larry Carnovale, Paul Carnovale, Christopher Carnovale, Jennifer Crudele, Christine Karpi, & JoAnn Paris. Aunt Roma was also survived by many great nieces and great nephews.
