Theresa Kaufman

Theresa Kaufman, 91 of Cranford passed away peacefully on March 7, 2023.

Born and raised in Newark, she then moved and became a Cranford resident for 50 years. She was a proud homemaker and later worked as a assembler at Tecknit in Cranford for 30 years before retirement.

Theresa was the beloved wife, and was predeceased by her husband Arthur J. Kaufman. She was the loving mother of Dominick K. and his wife Natalie, Arthur K. and his wife Cheryl, Helen Auriemma and her husband Philip, and Donna Zeiss and her husband Jim. She was the dear sister of Francis Rivoli, Angelina Markowicz, and the late Frank Naso, Fred Naso, and Mary Lou Costanza. She was also the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and adoring great-grandmother of 17 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Theresa at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday March 10 from 4-8  PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
