Thomas Alu

Thomas Alu, 89 of Spring Lake passed away on April 27, 2016.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Saturday at 12 noon. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Born in Irvington, Tom split his time between West Palm Beach, Florida and Ortley Beach, NJ for many years. He served in the Navy during World War II as a radio operator, and later owned and managed the Sailfish Motel in West Palm Beach and the Waldorf Motel in Ortley Beach.

Thomas is survived by his dear sisters Marie Cortese and Toni Weber, by his brother Joseph Alu; nieces and nephews Joanne Cook, Camile Frasco, Joseph Frasco, Dr. Franklin Frasco, Sarina Cortese, Anthony Cortese and Anngel Cortese; and also by many great-nieces and nephews.
