Thomas P Ferris, 64 of Newark passed away on June 25, 2014 at St. Michaels Hospital, Newark.

The funeral services are from the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific St. Newark on Saturday at 8:30 AM.  The funeral mass is at St. James Church Newark at 9:30 AM with internment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation is Friday 3-7 PM.

Son of the late Peter and Maude (nee Aloof) Ferris

He was the brother of Barbara Ferris & the late Michael Ferris. Also, he is the nephew of the late John Ameen.

Thomas was born in Newark and a lifelong resident of the Ironbound section of Newark. He was an active parishioner at St. James Church, Newark.

Tommy was the manager at the Dr. Fish Market in Irvington.  Previously he co-owned Downtown Meats in Newark and before that was employed by Effenbein Meat Co. in Newark.
