Born on February 27, 1973, in Summit, NJ, Tom was known for his unwavering dedication and hard work as a self-employed construction worker. His craftsmanship was seen not just in the projects he completed but also in the relationships he built throughout his career.
Thomas' legacy is carried on by his devoted family. He is survived by his beloved mother, Martha (Witheridge) Gilmore, and his father, Tom Gilmore Sr. He also had the support of Michelle Prendergast, his longtime companion. His family includes his aunts, Patricia Gilmore and Joanie Gilmore, who will remember him fondly. Thomas faced the loss of his sister, Rachel Hoehn, in 2020, a reminder of the ties that hold families together, even in grief.
