Vicente A. Infante

Vicente A. Infante, 62, of Union, NJ, passed away on December 19, 2022.

Vicente was the son of the late Dr. Amacleto Infante and Soledad Arcenas. Vicente is survived by his loving wife, Violeta (nee) Maralit, and loving sons, Van and Vincent Infante, and daughter Loriann Loneker.

Vicente was born in Roxas City, Philippines,  where he served in the army in his early years. He moved to the United States in 1993, settling in Union with the dream of opening his own restaurant. He had a strong passion for cooking and experimenting with all kinds of food. Even though he did not open a restaurant, he found another interest in planes. He loved working for United Airlines. One of his hobbies was drawing. He was a skillful drawer with beautiful artworks of airplanes and many other magnificent pieces. He enjoyed traveling and seeing new places, and experiencing new cultures. Most of all, he loved being around family, and his cooking brought everyone closer. He never wanted his family to worry about him. He was kind, friendly, and, most of all, selfless.

Visitation at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave in Union, on Tuesday from 2:00 - 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
