Victor J. Aranjo, Sr. 49, lifelong resident of the Ironbound section of Newark, passed away on September 5, 2012.
The funeral service is from the Galante Funeral Home 17 Pacific St, at Walnut St. in Newark (Ironbound) on Monday at 8 PM. Cremation is private. Visitation is Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. .
Victor worked as a copywriter for Wiley Publishing in Hoboken. He was a die-hard Mets and Jets fan and volleyball dad. He will be remembered as a loving father and husband, and a devoted family man.
Victor was the husband of 22 years to Elizabeth (nee Dilla). He was the father of Alana and Victor, Jr. Son of the late Victorino R. Aranjo and Sarah (nee Tartaglia). He was the brother of Alice Gaven, Mary Azevedo, and Nancy and Anthony Aranjo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his dog Oliver.
