Viola Draude  (nee Vitale), 93, of Newark, passed away on December 29, 2017.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave in Union on Wednesday at 9 AM

Funeral Mass at the St. James Church in Newark at 10 AM

Interment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.

Visitation on Tuesday from 4 - 8 PM.

Born in Newark, Viola was a lifelong resident of the Ironbound section of Newark.

She was a school aide, working at Oliver Street School and later at Ann Street School, both in Newark before retiring 18 years ago.

She was a former member of the Italian American Club in the Ironbound.

Viola was the wife of the late Eduard.

Mother of Eduard Draude Jr. Wife Eva, Alberta Scarano Husband Nunzio and Patricia Iria Husband Leo.

Sister of John Vitale and the late Samuel, Alfonso, Mario, Philip, Joseph, Anna Pagano, Rose Vanacore and Mary Vitale.

Grandmother of Vicky, Jennifer, Danesa, Eduard and Elise.

Great-Grandmother of Marcus, Emily, Aurora, Brody, and Vicente.
