Vivian (Bullock) Heyl

Vivian Marie Heyl

Vivian Marie Heyl (nee Bullock) 94, passed away on April 3, 2017 at home on Staten Island surrounded by her loving family. Vivian was born on May 21, 1922 to her parents David and Rose Bullock in Kearny, NJ.  Vivian graduated from Curtis High School in 1941 and married the late William C. Heyl in 1944. In 1954 they moved to Eltingville, SI where they raised their loving family. During the war, Vivian worked for Moran Towing.

Vivian is survived by her son William J. Heyl and wife Roseann and her granddaughter Kimberly.

Vivian had a great passion for her family, her church, gardening and her many pets. She always enjoyed a great conversation and loved to tell stories about her life.

During her last year, she was lovingly cared for by Rose Dennis for whom the family is very grateful.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 6 ^th at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, NJ 07083 with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. The cremation will be private.
