Vivian D’Urso (nee Abruzzo) 76, of Toms River died on Tuesday July 16 ^th , 2013 at home.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday at 9am. The funeral mass is at St. Lucy Church in Newark at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation is Thursday from 4-8 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in Irvington, Clark, & Bloomfield, before moving to Toms River 2 ½ years ago.

She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. John Church in Lakehurst, and the former President of the Seton Hall Prep Mother’s Auxiliary.

Vivian is married to her husband Anthony N. D’Urso for 57 years, and is the mother of Theresa D’Urso O’Brien, Anthony S. D’Urso, and his wife Roseanne, and Samuel C. D'Urso and his wife Diane. She was also the sister of Charles Abruzzo and his wife Angel, as well as the grandmother of Anthony, Michael, Gianna, Sam and Holly.

She loved cooking for her family and friends and going to the beach. But most of all she loved attending sporting events for her children and grandchildren.
