Vivian Nicol

Vivian M. Nicol (nee Elkas), 83 of West Caldwell passed away on March 10, 2019.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Vivian at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Assyrian Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary, 644 Paramus Rd. Paramus on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.

Born in Orange to the late James and Menera (Cassar) Elkas, Vivian lived there until moving to West Caldwell 50 years ago. She worked as an executive secretary for Coastal Oil in Newark for 30 years before retiring.

Vivian was the beloved wife of Robert Nicol. She is survived by Robert's children Barbara LaFalce and Alice Nicol-Wild; and 4 Grandchildren, and was the dear sister of Dr. John Elkas, and Dr. Robert Elkas and his wife Lana. She is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, and was the loving aunt to many great-nieces and great-nephews.
