Wilhem Jean-Marie Pinard

   Wilhem Jean-Marie Pinard was born on September 9, 1948, in Saint Marc, Haiti to Elange Pinard and Anne-Marie Bonhomme.  Alongside, his younger brother Jacques Edourd Pinard, they grew up in a large and loving family who were instrumental in their growth as young men in Haiti. Coming from a loving family it only made sense that he would meet his predestined wife and life partner, Evelyne Victoria Stuppard in Saint Marc, Haiti in 1956. They later married in 1966 and shortly after, migrated to Brooklyn, NY where they started their family. The Pinard family grew with their first child Alexandra, followed by Nancy, Stanley, Katia, and Riccardo.

      Wilhem maintained his career working several jobs that shaped his path into Entrepreneurship. As a result, Wilhem established his own businesses, including a convenience store in Haiti, a restaurant/night club, and a school transportation service in the United States. He possessed a real passion for music and instruments, which he shared with friends and family all the time. Wilhem was a member of the “Mini Express Band”, in which he would sing and play the guitar. He was known as the life of the party;

Wilhem had a way of bringing laughter and joy through music, and the love of his country and culture.

   This trend continued throughout the rest of his life, as he spent his remaining years enjoying the beautiful palm trees and warm weather of sunny South Florida, while also traveling back and forth to Haiti.  He later moved to New Jersey, and then Virginia, where he spent his last days in the warm love and embrace of his wife, children, grandchildren, and family.

Wilhem passed away on March 21, 2023, leaving a legacy of love, memories, wisdom, strong faith, and family devotion.

Wilhem was predeceased by his mother, Anne-Marie Bonhomme; father, Elange Pinard, and sister Joelle Pinard. He is survived by his wife, Evelyne Pinard, daughters: Alexandra Pinard-Acloque, Nancy Pinard, and Katia Pinard-Ballinger; sons: Stanley Pinard and Ricky Pinard; son-in-laws: Andre Acloque and Samuel Ballinger; grand-children: Ky’la Pinard, Zaquiyah Graham, Samaad Williams, Andre Tyler Acloque, Aurianna Acloque, Aaron Acloque, Jemar Armand, Raquiyah Williams, Krystal Davis, Marlon Philidor, Makayla Philidor, Kalyse Ballinger; great- grandchildren: Me’ky Dean, Jamere Williams, Sinay Wiley, Amir Williams, Asir Williams, and Skylar Smith.
